Welcome to the Galt Cambridge Lions Club

Welcome to the Galt Cambridge Lions, one of the over 46,000 Clubs serving humanity on a global basis. Since our beginning in 1917, we have been united in a single cause: helping those less fortunate. We are tackling the tough problems like blindness and drug abuse as well as diabetes awareness and finding help and training for the deaf, disabled, underprivileged and the elderly. In fact, whatever the community needs to make life better, we're there to help. We are the youngest service club community based organization, yet we have grown to the world's largest, 1,400,000 strong. We are succeeding because we have embraced all those committed to building a brighter future for the world and for themselves.

The Galt Cambridge Lions Club was chartered in March 1938 and have been actively involved in charitable activities on a continuing basis. Our motto is "We Serve". Our Mission is to create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international cooperation. We meet regularly twice a month, on the first and third Tuesday at 50 Ainslie St. North, Cambridge at 6:30 P.M. Membership is open to persons of legal majority and those interested in contributing to the betterment of the community and to the world around us.
